- 120 g of almond and basil pesto (about 2/3 of the jar)
- 100 ml of pasta cooking water
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- Salt to taste
- A handful of toasted almonds for garnish (optional)
Step by Step Preparation:
- Prepare the water:
- Bring a pot of salted water to the boil and cook the tagliatelle according to the times indicated on the package.
- Prepare the dressing:
- In a bowl, mix the almond and basil pesto with the hot cooking water until you get a creamy consistency.
- Season the pasta:
- Drain the tagliatelle and pour them into the bowl with the pesto.
- Mix well adding a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil to complete.
- Serve:
- Divide the tagliatelle among the plates, garnishing with chopped toasted almonds if desired.
