Product care
Decorative ceramics
- Cleaning: Soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. For dirt, use warm water and a mild detergent.
- What to avoid: abrasive sponges, aggressive degreasers, bleach, solvents.
Food ceramics
- Use: suitable for contact with food for serving and presentation.
- Washing: preferably by hand with mild detergent and a non-abrasive sponge.
- Dishwasher: if used, choose a delicate cycle/low temperatures and avoid direct contact with other objects (risk of impact).

Microwave / oven / flame: not recommended, unless explicitly indicated in the product sheet.
- Thermal shock: avoid sudden hot/cold transitions (e.g. fridge → hot water), to prevent microfractures.
Placemats
- Daily cleaning: damp cloth, mild detergent, dry immediately.
- Stains: Treat quickly without rubbing vigorously.
- What to avoid: abrasive sponges, solvents, bleach.
Beach towels
- Washing instructions: Follow the care label. Generally: gentle cycle, similar colors, mild detergent.
- Drying: preferably air-dry; avoid prolonged exposure to the sun unless necessary (to maintain shine).
Shipping and returns
Orders are prepared with the utmost care at our headquarters and entrusted to selected express couriers.
Product Availability
Products marked "In Stock" are ready for immediate shipment.
Some handcrafted ceramics are made to order. In these cases, processing times are always indicated on the product sheet . Delivery times are from the moment the item leaves our premises, until any processing is completed.
Mixed Orders: How Shipping Works
If an order contains items with different availability (available products + ceramics on order), the system generates two separate shipments :
- First immediate shipment with available items
- Second shipment upon completion of the custom ceramics
This option allows you to receive what is available immediately, without waiting for the artisanal processing times.

- Express shipping: €6
- Free shipping for orders ≥ €80
- Estimated delivery: 1–2 working days
For mixed orders with made-to-order products:
- Orders <€80: first shipment €6 + second shipment €6
- Orders ≥ €80: both shipping costs are free.
Europe
- Express shipping: from €14
- Estimated delivery: 3–5 working days
- In case of mixed orders, each shipment is charged at the standard rate (e.g. €14 + €14)
United Kingdom
- Express shipping: from €18
- Estimated delivery: 3–5 working days (excluding any customs checks)
- In case of mixed orders, each shipment is charged at the standard rate (e.g. €18 + €18)
- Customs duties and taxes are paid by the customer
Swiss
- Express shipping: from €40
- Estimated delivery: 3–5 working days (excluding any customs checks)
- In case of mixed orders, each shipment is charged at the standard rate (e.g. €40 + €40)

United States
- Express shipping: from €30
- Estimated delivery: 3–5 working days

The times indicated are estimates and may vary for reasons not attributable to His Majesty Sicily (seasonal peaks, logistical conditions, customs checks).
All information (number of deliveries, times and costs) are always visible at checkout.
Exchanges and Returns
After receiving an order, you have 14 days to request a return.
- Free returns from Italy
- From abroad, return costs are charged to the customer.
Return conditions
To be eligible for return, the item must:
- Be in the same condition as received
- Not having been used
- Have all the original tags
- Be contained in the original packaging (where applicable)
How to request a return
- Contact us at help@suamaestasicilia.com within 14 days of delivery.
- You will receive a shipping label (if applicable) and return instructions.

⚠️ Important: Items sent without a prior return request will not be accepted.
Non-returnable items
It is not possible to return:
- Perishable products (e.g. food products)
- Personalized items
- Personal care products (e.g. cosmetics)
- Gift card

Damaged or defective products
Inspect your order upon delivery. If you find any defects, damage, or an incorrect item, please contact us within 5 days of delivery.
Procedure in case of damage:
- Visibly damaged package: Photograph the package and refuse delivery , specifying the reason for the refusal to the courier
- Intact package but damaged products: Accept delivery with reservations (specifying this to the courier when signing), take detailed photographs of the packaging and damaged products, and contact us immediately.
💡 Important: Deliveries must always be accepted with reservations . Only then, by providing photographic documentation, can we proceed with a free replacement or refund.
⚠️ Damage claims must be submitted within 5 days of delivery. After this deadline, the process will no longer be open.
Substitutions
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is:
- Return the item received
- Wait for return approval
- Place a new separate order
EU Right of Withdrawal (14 days)
If the goods are shipped within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return the order within 14 days for any reason, without having to provide a reason.
The item must meet the conditions listed above (unused, original packaging, tags, receipt).
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you within 2-3 business days if your refund has been approved.
If approved:
- The refund will be processed within 10 business days
- The amount will be credited to the original payment method / in-store credit
- The crediting times depend on your bank/credit card
